LaMarco Merciano, CEO of Auset X Technology and CTO and Co-Founder of Catch A Captains, is a Miami native, born and raised, and a proud graduate of Miami Norland Senior High School. After 14 years of distinguished service in the Army, including tours in Iraq and Kuwait, LaMarco pursued higher education, earning his degree from Florida Memorial University and a master’s degree in management information systems with a concentration in Cybersecurity and Business Analytics from Nova Southeastern University. As an inventor and visionary leader, he is revolutionizing the boating industry through Catch A Captains, an innovative on-demand app that allows passengers to effortlessly book captains, available on both the Apple Store and Play Store. Set to launch in Fall 2024, his next project, Catch A Crew, will enable boat owners to hire and rate crew members seamlessly.
