The Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation is a beacon for aspiring entrepreneurs. Through the 100 Startup Project, entrepreneurs receive a one-year membership to the Levan Center—a transformative opportunity. Our recent conversation with Alexandra Baker, a member of the 100 Startup Project, sheds light on this remarkable program and its impact from an entrepreneur’s perspective.

Alexandra Baker, co-founder and CEO of In the Kitchen with Alexandra, brings West Indian flavors to life. Their specialty? Pikliz, a traditional Haitian condiment bursting with pickled vegetables and fiery hot peppers. Alexandra’s upbringing in a Haitian household in Broward County fueled her passion for this culinary gem. Surprisingly, despite the sizable Haitian diaspora in South Florida, mainstream grocery stores lacked this beloved product.

Alexandra’s enthusiasm for the Levan Center is infectious. She affectionately calls herself a “self-proclaimed Levan Center evangelist! Alexandra joined the Accelerate Program in early 2023, immersing herself in the startup ecosystem. The Levan Center became her second home—a space where founders collide, ideas flourish, and dreams take flight. And when Alexandra received the one-year scholarship, tears of gratitude flowed. Thanks to Memorial Healthcare Systems and the 100 Startups Program, her startup journey became smoother, and her vision clearer.

So, whether you’re a seasoned founder or a budding entrepreneur, reach out to the Levan Center today. It’s where dreams meet reality, and where the extraordinary becomes possible! 🚀
