About Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation
The Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation (Levan Center) is a public-private partnership between Nova Southeastern University (NSU) and Broward County. The Levan Center is “The World’s First Theme Park for Entrepreneurs”™ and supporting stakeholders located in a 54,000 sq. ft. purpose-built facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Levan Center is focused on three themes (innovation, technology, entrepreneurship) and four pillars known as the Founder’s Journey (Ideate, Incubate, Accelerate, Post-Accelerate). The Levan Center serves the NSU and South Florida communities, resulting in breakthrough ideation, new technologies, job creation, talent skills pipeline, new company formation, philanthropic initiatives and scaling of early-stage and young startup companies. Each of the four pillars are supported by customized programs, events and wraparound services. A space business focused cohort for every stage of your Founder’s Journey.
Ideate & Create
A four-week program that assists entrepreneurs with the development an idea through design thinking and prototyping. This is a pre-seed stage where Founders have access to resources to identify a clear idea to commercialize.
Incubate & Implement
A six-week program to advance the design thinking process from the ideate stage. Cohorts identify a solution for a known pain point negatively affecting the Founder’s business. Mentors and industry experts are strategically introduced during this stage.
Accelerate & Scale
A twelve-week program to increase your company’s funding, customers, and revenue streams. During the program, you will build upon your brand recognition and engage with a network of experts and stakeholders to support further innovation and avoid growth plateau.
